Memorial services for Clifton G. Bullock, 74, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Private inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bullock died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Vermillion, the son of LeRoy and Floy Roberts Bullock. He graduated from Vermillion High School and attended business college.
Mr. Bullock served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the state of Kansas in the workers compensation claims department for 25 years. He was a member of American Legion Dorsey-Liberty Post 14.
He married Shirley Mulch on Feb. 12, 1955, in Reno, Nev. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Debbie Shmalberg, Lawrence, and Janel Torres, Perryton, Texas; a son, Scot, Overland Park; a brother, Glendale, Springfield, Mo.; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Bullocks' home.
The family suggests memorials to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Oncology or Palliative Care Unit, sent in care of the mortuary.
