CAT'S NOTES:

Lieutenant Allanson was listed as a merchant in his wedding announcement event ; his death announcement stated that he was a former resident of NYC. We are not sure where he set up his business, or what it involved, however he may have been on a voyage to Russia to open up some new trading contacts. Wife, Mary appears to have remained a widow the rest of her life, living in Massachusetts.
