She was born in Radford, VA, on January 21, 1955, the daughter of Alfred S. and Peggy S. McGee.
She married William "Bill" Gessner, in 1995 and resided in Dublin, VA. The couple later retired to White Pine, TN in 2008. She was an active member and leader in the White Pine Church of God until 2019.
Deborah was preceded in death by her mother Peggy S. McGee, step-grandson Andrew Lutz and husband William J. Gessner.
She is survived by her father Alfred S. McGee; brother, Michael S. McGee; sister-in-law, Sarah Y. McGee; stepdaughter, Chandra Lutz; step son-in-law, Alvin Lutz; step-granddaughter Tiffany Lutz and stepson Nathan Gessner.
