Mrs. Mary Genevieve Barr, 79 years old of Palatine, Illinois died February 22, 1968 at the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly where she had been a resident for three years.
She was born August 18, 1888 in Meade County, Kentucky the daughter of Moses Ray and Mary Rhodes.
She married William Albert Barr on May 26, 1914 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Meade County, Kentucky. Mr. Barr preceded her in death in 1940.
She is survived by a son, Harry Barr of Mount Prospect; three daughters, Iola Tiedge, Rita Cole and Leila Clements all of Palatine, Illinois.
Internment will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
