Services for Izac Silas "Bill" Boles, 88, of Carthage, formerly of Klamath Falls, Ore., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at Klamath Memorial Chapel in Klamath Memorial Park Cemetery of Klamath Falls, Ore, with Father Bob Adams officiating. Arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Boles died October 10, 2007, in Carthage.

Born February 12, 1919, in Monroe, La., he was a U.S. Army veteran, of the Cherokee Nation Tribe No. 101, head sawer for Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. and a Catholic. Survivors include his son, Robert Lee Boles; daughters, Margaret Copeland and Carolyn Rose Depuy Vierra; and brothers, Nathaniel Maurise "Buddy" Boles and Curtis Shaw. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
