Balfour Morgan

Balfour Morgan, 74, of Kilmichael died at the Kilmichael Hospital Sunday, June 19 after several weeks of illness.

Mr. Morgan, a native of Choctaw County was a retired farmer and dairyman. He was the son of Andrew Jackson Morgan and Dicie Bramlett Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunia L. Morgan of Kilmichael, two daughters, Mrs. Inez Halford and Mrs. Betty M. Deaton both of Greenville; one son, Barney E. Morgan of Winona, one brother, Derwood A. Morgan of Stewart; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of God.

Funeral services were held at the Chapel of Winona Funeral Home Tuesday, June 21 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Dan Beardain and Rev. R. G. Goodrum officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael with Winona Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Grady Ellis, L. Z. Tindoll, Davis Morgan, Juanell Lollar, Jimmy Latham and Maxie Ellis.

Balfour Morgan, 74, of Kilmichael died at the Kilmichael Hospital Sunday, June 19 after several weeks of illness.
