In 1910, Mary's son Alexander Amason lived in Montgomery County. According to a memory in The History of Montgomery County, Alexander Amason was a "picture taking man", traveling around the countryside in a surrey with tassels around the top and two pretty spotted ponies to pull it. Mary's other son Andrew Amason died on Sept. 13, 1930 in Tuscaloosa, AL. Mary's daughter Ada Amason married Sanford Richard Hughston. She died in 1949 and is buried in Choctaw County. Mary's son William Brantley married Maggie Applewhite and he died in 1938 and is buried in Kilmichael.
