Born on July 23, 1927 in Plainville, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian Tata and Theresa (Longo) Tata.
She was the wife of the late Gus Danilevich.
On their first date they went to see a Tony Bennett concert in Hartford, and they were married on June 25, 1955.
Mary graduated from Plainville High School and had a long career as a hairdresser in New Britain.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Tata, and her sister-in-law, Ruby Tata.
Mary was diagnosed with ALS in April of this year and faced the disease with courage and equanimity.
