Macajah Powell the son of Moses Moscow and Prudence Gardner Powell Sr married 1st iin 1783 in Culpeper County, Virginia Mary "Polly" Chistler. They had one son Abraham.
He married 2nd in 28 February 1788 Culpeper County, Virginia, Mary Wilhoit the daughter of Matthias and Mary Ballenger Willheit. They had three Children: Rosy, Betsy. and Sally. And he married 3rd in Campbell County, Kentucky, Mary "Polly" Connelly. No known Children from this marriage. Macajah died in 1814 and left a Will

17 January 1791 , Macajah bought 304 acres of land in Culpeper County, Virginia for 25 Lbs from Thomas and Sarah Graves on the north side of the south branch of the
Stanton River of Richard Durret's line down river. (NOTE: This land was later in Madison County, Virginia.

October 5, 1795, Micajah sold 140 acres in Madison Co. to John Lindsey at
the fork of the Stanton River and on the south side of the Mountain Fork. On
the same day, he sold to Michael Wilhoit for 50 lbs. 140 acres. (NOTE: The
disposition of the remaining 24 acres has not been determined.)

July 23, 1800, Micajah appeared in the Bourbon Co., KY tax list.

1810, Micajah Powell was living in Boone Co., KY. His household was
later located in Madison County, Kentucky. Listed as 1 male (26-45) and
1 female over 45.

November 15, 1812, Micajah married Polly Connelly in Campbell Co., KY.

Micajah wrote his will on January 27, 1814. The will was recorded on June
18, 1814 and on June 28, 1814, an inventory was taken of his estate in
Campbell Co., Kentucky.

November 2, 1816, settlement of Micajah's estate was made in Campbell
Co., KY, with proceeds going to his four children: Abraham (husband of
Polly), Rosey (wife of John Stoncipher), Betsy,(wife of Samuel Stevens) and Sally (wife
of William Peck (Peak)
