H. Kurt Setterberg was born October 30, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry F. Setterberg and Irene Pate Setterberg. He left us on January 21, 2021. He was part owner of KT Customs Exteriors--which had always been a dream of his.

Kurt had an amazingly huge heart and always put others before himself. He would help anybody he came across even giving them the shirt off his back. No questions asked.

He left behind his wife of 50 years, Candy Rae Setterberg; 2 daughters: Kearsta Setterberg Gunn (Brett Gunn) and Danielle Candy Setterberg; and 4 grandchildren whom he loved more than life itself: Joshua Torrey Ohrn, Alexis Gunn Litteral (James Litteral), Taylor Lynn Gunn (Lexi Gunn), and Diego Gilbert Arreola.

He loved spoiling his grandkids and playing video games. He bonded with the kids playing MediEvil. It is something they will remember for the rest of their lives. He wrote poetry from the heart, loved to read, and always had a curious mind. He loved woodworking and building. He had so much compassion in his heart for animals, and loved his dogs Stella and Snowball. When Stella passed, he was so broken-hearted that he never really recovered from the loss. He always knew he would be with her again. He was loved and respected by so many.

We love you so much dad, grandpa, and can’t even express how much you will be missed. Friends may visit family Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E.
