Bernice E. Lambries, age 88, of Manitowoc passed away Monday morning, January 25, 2021 at Tender Reflections Assisted Living, Manitowoc.

Bernice was born on July 9, 1932 in the town of Newton, daughter of the late Walter C. and Meta (Schmidt) Koepsel. She graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1950. On August 27, 1955 she married Alvin W. Lambries at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1995. Bernice worked as a beautician at Eve's Beauty Salon and Guys & Gals Beauty Salon for many years until her retirement. She was a past member of St. John United Church of Christ and current member of Peace United Church of Christ, Friends of Sinawa, Christian Education Committee and the National Cosmetology Association. Bernice enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and was an avid reader. She also taught Sunday School for 28 years and served on the Church Council and was treasurer of St. John United Church of Christ for 10 years. Bernice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter and one son-in-law: Connie Balzan, Manitowoc, Ken Dvorachek, Reedsville; one son and daughter-in-law: David (Gledy) Lambries, Green Bay; six grandchildren: Stephanie (Jeff) Puta, Green Bay, Erin Dvorachek and her special friend: Elliott, Layfette, CO, Erika (Jon) Garza, Manitowoc, Heather (Travis) Alberts, Seymour, Heidi Balzan and her special friend: Kris, Manitowoc, Sarah Miller and her fiancée: Ryan, Seymour; 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Betty Musial, Manitowoc; Dolly (Dick) Melichar, Manitowoc; one cousin: Elton Commings, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Meta Koepsel; her husband: Alvin Lambries; one daughter: Debbie Dvorachek; one son-in-law: Tony Balzan; one sister: Jeanette Koepsel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Dr. Matthew L. Sauer will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to keep everyone safe, the family requests that everyone please wear a facemask and practice social distancing.
