Lora B. Swanson, 96, of Galva died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, at Toulon Health Care Center.
Born Sept. 9, 1904, in Galva to Theodore and Etta Winegar Nyberg, she married Fred J. Swanson in 1924 in Galva. He died in 1946.
One daughter, Nancy, also preceded her in death.
Surviving is one daughter, Pat Brown of Kewanee.
She was a secretary at Rockefeller Center in New York City and later at John Best in Galva.
Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Galva Cemetery.
