On Monday morning; a holiday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's. birthday Sharia Brooks was found shot to death in her car. Dr. King peacefully protested against violence and on the very holiday honoring his life and "his dream" Sharika lost hers. Officers arrived on the scene and found Sharika's 8-month-old daughter alive. I will update her memorial as more information becomes available.
