On Dec. 26th, Louis Arthur Nathan, of 33 Pembridge Gardens, W., formerly of Auckland, New Zealand, in his 66th year. Funeral will leave above address for Willesden Cemetery, Wednesday, at ten a.m.
With reference to the last announcement, the following notes have been sent to me. Mr Nathan was born at Launceston, Tasmania, and was educated in London. When a young man he went to Auckland and was engaged in business there for many years. He started in business in London as a New Zealand merchant at Daswood House, Old Broad St., from which he retired in 1905. He was a director of the New Zealand and River Plate Land Mortgage Co. Limited. In 1891 he married Stella (daughter of the late Mr Moses Joseph, of London and formerly of Sydney, who survives him. He had been in failing health for some time. His bright and genial personality will be sadly missed by his devoted wife and numerous sorrowing relatives and friends.
