B. F. Lorimor, died at his home in Eureka township, October 25, 1900, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 2 days.
He was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania, May 23, 1833, and moved with his parents to Ohio at the age of 3. he was married in 1854 to Mary E. Morrow, and that year they moved to Madison County, Iowa, then in 1885 they moved to Eureka township, Barton county, Kansas. In 1888 his wife died, and in 1892, he married Helen Simons, of Ohio, who died October 24, 1898.
He leaves six children; P. P., F. M.,F. S. Lorimor, all of Eureka township, Mrs. Fred Bloss, of Plover, Colorado, and Mrs. J. J. Lewis of Canon City, Colorado. Also, J. S. Lorimor, of Lorimor, Iowa, and Mrs. Carrie Reed, of Warrensburg, Missouri, brother and sister.
