Jaqueline Evette Graham
01/14/1961 - 01/21/2021

On January 14, 1961, Margaret Graham was blessed with a beautiful baby girl that she named Jacqueline Evette. She was welcomed by her parents, grandparents, and two aunts who adored her. John Lee Bedgood entered her life at a very early age. She was the big sister to five siblings, who were all boys whom she loved dearly.

Jacqueline, a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, matriculated through St. Lucie County Public Schools graduating from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1979. After high school, she attended Indian River Community College and earned many certificates. Jackie loved children and it was her life dedication. She worked for ALPI and other childcare facilities.

Jackie loved the Lord with her whole heart. Her spiritual foundation started at an early age in the House of God Church. As the years passed, she stayed connected to her foundational teaching.

Jackie was known for her infectious laugh and vivacious personality. She always made people around her laugh. She never met a stranger.

Jackie especially loved her role as mama to her niece Precious. Most of all she loved and adored all her nieces, cousins, and all little girls, they were her world. If you were blessed to be present when she entered the church with one of them, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. She wanted them to be the best-dressed girls around. They were known for their fancy dresses, Kankan slips, and socks. When she gazed into their faces when they pranced around was sheer delight.

After the passing of her mother, Jackie took on the responsibility of her brothers. She was a dedicated sister first and foremost. The relationship she had with her brothers Cornelius and Geraud was not like any other. She was a wonderful big sister that taught them a lot and she always had their back. If you saw one you saw the other. They were inseparable and bonded by love. When her brothers would see her, their whole face would light up and the time would just be lost. She treasured her brothers and embraced every moment with them. Her favorite pastime was going to different restaurants and shopping for others. She also shared her love for food with her brothers. Also, her aunt Alberta took on the role of mother for her and her siblings after the death of their mother.

On Thursday, January 21, 2021, after a long struggle with her health, she surrendered to her final destination and departed her life at home. She reunites with her parents Margaret Bedgood, stepfather John Lee Bedgood, and brother Cornelius Bedgood, and grandparents JD and Bertha Graham.

Those left to cherish her memories are a loving daughter/niece; Ykisha Bedgood, four brothers; Donald Graham, Johnnie Bedgood, Geraud Bedgood, and Kevin Bedgood; two loving aunts; Elizabeth Hamilton and Alberta Anderson; 1 niece; Yterria Bedgood, and 3 nephews; Johnny Bedgood, Christopher Bedgood, and Melvin Boynton, 8 great-nieces and nephews; Tyisha, Travis, Travarius, Tykeria, Mariah, Jaceon, Shaniah, and Shamir; special cousins; Larry, Lewis, Theresa, Gwendolyn, Alvin, Catherine, Donnell and Cindy and host of cousins, and sorrowing friends.
