Passed away peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge, Cornwall on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Madeleine Alexandra Blondin (née Prieur) of Cornwall, formerly of Apple Hill; age 81 years.
Beloved mother of Sylvie Blondin (late Douglas Stevens) of Toronto, Daniel Blondin (Nicole) of Lochiel, Gilles Blondin of Casselman, and Julie Dignard (Manuel) of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Emilie (Marie-Hélène), Vincent (Katie), Clark, Martine, Katja, Alexandre, Gabrielle, Olivier, Izabelle, and great-grandmother of Mathis.
Predeceased by brothers Jean-Paul (late Marie-Jeanne), Léon (late Soulange), Raymond (late Marguerite), Gaston (Jacqueline of l’Ile Perrot), Gérard (late Diane), Urbain (Denise) of Valleyfield), by sisters Cécile St. Louis (late Lionel), and Thérèse Amesmann (late Al), and by her parents Edouard and Laura Prieur (née Hamelin).
Throughout her lifetime, Madeleine dedicated unlimited love, support and encouragement to her family and friends at a moment’s notice. She truly enjoyed the hustle and bustle of a busy life by teaching yoga for 30 yrs in SDG, fundraising for charity in the community, gardening, sewing and painting. She will be missed.
Burial at Saint Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis.
