Memorial services will be Tues., Oct. 9, for Eva M. Bennett, 93, New Hope, Minn., former Winfred resident, who died on Oct. 2, 2007.
The services will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, Minn., and private interment will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery at Orland, S.D.
Eva Shoemaker was born on Sept. 25, 1914, at Winfred to Claude and Jennie Shoemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Voss; seven grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, J. Gordon Bennett and Vernon Arke; and a sister, Ardith Mitchum.
