Earl Roger Hendershot, age 80, of Beverly, Ohio, passed away 1/26/21 of Covid complications. He was born 8/26/1940 to Paul S. Hendershot and Waldine Payne. He was preceded in death by his siblings Larry and Nolan Hendershot, Shirley Smith and son Alexx Engle. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Bonnie Bauer Hendershot, sister Nina Huffman and three daughters, Tina Hendershot Lehman (Grant), Lisa Hendershot Schilling, Carma Engle Schilling (Jeff), five grandsons Tyler, Corey (Emily), Dustin, Adam and Alexx Schilling, one great-grandson Jack Schilling. He was in the Marine Corps from 1960-66, worked at BF Goodrich for 25 years, co-owner of Hendershots Marathon for 35 years. He was an avid Ohio State fan, member of the Masonic Lodge #1 of Marietta, and member of Marietta and Lowell Legions. He donated his body to Ohio University for scientific research. Memorial services will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Ohio Valley.
