Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Blanche Pettay, 82, a former Waterloo resident who died Sunday at her home in Freeport, Ohio, where she had resided for eight years.
She was born March 10, 1881, in Webster City, daughter of Wright and Louise Letts. On Aug 24, 1904, she was married to Guy Pettay, who survives.
Mr. Pettay operated a tailor shop at 123 1/2 E 5th St. over the Jake and Bill Clothing Store for 35 years. He retired from business here and moved to Canton, Ohio, and later to Freeport.
A brother of Mrs. Pettay is deceased.
