Dorothea Mae Ruffner
1919 - 2007
Dorothea Mae Ruffner (Arkwright) was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Feb. 22, 1919. She lived a wonderful life there and was soon married to a gentleman by the name of Arthur Quentine Ruffner, Sr. They moved around a little bit, usually between Arizona and Ohio. They eventually came to settle down in the state of Arizona.
Arthur did pass from this life in July of 1995. In 2003, Dorothea moved to Benson, Ariz., and on Jan. 30, 2007, Dorothea Mae Ruffner passed from this to the next.
Dorothea is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Quentine Ruffner, Sr.; her grandson Ricky Ruffner; and great-granddaughter Jariess Hearn; also preceded by beloved daughters-in law Pat Ruffner (Robert) and Ruby Ruffner (Arthur, Jr.).
Dorothea is survived by her daughters, Shirley Holbert (Thomas, Sr.) and Barbara Hettinger, and her sons, Arthur Ruffner, Jr., Ray Ruffner (Jeannie) and Robert Ruffner.
She also is survived by 16 grandchildren, 22+ great-grandchildren and by seven+ great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothea has left her family with a wonderful legacy and memories to cherish for the rest of our time.
