Oscar Joseph Branconnier was drafetd and joined the US Army on December 4, 1942 at Fort Devens, Massachussetts. He served with the 1849th Service Unit in the Medical Detachment of the 106th Infantry Regiment. Technician 5th Grade Oscar Branconnier was honorably discharged on December 4, 1945. He donated over 150 pints of blood to the Red Cross. Oscar J. Branconnier died at 52 on September 13, 1962 at Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, Massachussetts.
