LETHA M. BARROW
Letha M. Barrow, 80 of Memphis, Tennessee, died Wednesday, Mar. 30, 1988 in Memphis.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Apr. 5, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macon.
She was born Aug. 26, 1907 in Macon County, the daughter of William S. and Mattie (Johnson) McNeely. On Nov. 26, 1937 in Macon, she married Robert Wilson Barrow, who preceded her in death on May 15, 1968.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and four brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Jeannie) Earl of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth McNeely of Macon; and 11 nieces and nephews, including Lorraine Butler of La Plata.
She had served as a Central Committeewoman for the Democratic Party in Macon County and had been an alternate to the Democratic National Convention twice. She had been a local committeewoman for the first ward. She had been employed by a radio station in Little Rock and had been employed by the state auditor's office in Little Rock. She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
