William Butler Passes Away in Local Hospital
William Frank butler, 65 passed away following a brief illness in a Salinas hospital Sunday. A field foreman for the Garin company for 38 years, Mr. butler retired a year ago. He was a native of Watsonville and with his wife Arvilla, made his home here at 558 East Alisal street.
He is survived by two stepsons, Earl Goff of Bakersfield and Jack Beame, Salinas; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hoover and Ida Thompson of Watsonville, Mrs. Jeannie Mulrey, Redwood City, and Mrs. Emily Dameron, Salinas; a brother Fred Butler , Watsonville; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
His rites will be held tomorrow at 10:30a.m. in Struve and LaPorte's chapel. Interment follows in the Garden of Memories.
