He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
A member of the American Bowling Congress, he was the manager of Northgate Bowling Alley Pro Shop for several years and later became a guard for the Brinks Security Co. in Galesburg.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Cemetery. Deacon Robert Myers will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
