Funeral services for Bill J. Box, 86, of Winona, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, at Oliver Chapel. The Rev. John L. Walker assisted by Mr. Dan Beardain officiated. Burial was in Kilmichael Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Box died Monday, January 9, 1995, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital of pneumonia complications. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Blanche Brunt Box of Winona; one son, Wayne Box of Rolling Fork; two sisters, Lois Jacks of Winona, Lottie Bennett of Moss Point; three grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sonny Simmons, David Heath, Thomas Burchfield, Sonny Brunt, Lee White and Ghenga Heath.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
