Judith A. Vanden Busch

Judith "Judee" A. Vanden Busch, age 81, went to her eternal home with our Lord on January 23, 2021. Judee was born on September 28, 1939, in Green Bay, WI to William "Bill" & Arabel "Tootie" Smith.

On July 6, 1957, Judee married the love of her life, Ronald H. Vanden Busch. They raised 3 beautiful children together: Steven, Susan, and Sharon.

In 1968, she joined The United States Federal Civil Service, MWR Division AF and retired in 1995 after 27 years. After retirement she immediately started planning summer vacations with Ron and their 6 grandchildren. Judee will always be remembered for her infectious smile and her beautiful hazel eyes that would twinkle. She looked forward to spending the summer and winter seasons at their cabin in Red River, NM with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, fishing, biking, skating, baking, and cooking. She was the master chef when everyone returned from the slopes. No one ever passed up grandma's cooking! The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Judee. She loved a quiet morning, reading a good book with a cup of coffee in hand. She also enjoyed her evenings with friends and a glass of wine. During her free time, she loved to make decorative eggs and was very creative and talented. Each one she made was special in its own way. Judee loved to travel the world. She was always planning her next trip even before the previous one took place. She made each cruise/vacation memorable with friends and family and never turned down an opportunity that came her way.

Judee will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Judee is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Vanden Busch; beloved children Steven Vanden Busch (Sadie), Susan O'Brien (Chris), and Sharon Vidaurri; beloved grandchildren, Erin Spence (Matt), Megan O'Brien, Tanya Vanden Busch (Carlos), Joshua Vidaurri (Joscilynn), Steven Vanden Busch (Amberly), Ryder Vidaurri (Jenna); beloved greatgrandchildren, MJ, Luke, Nolan, Kya, Neveah, Jocelyn; and Peyton; Sister-In-Law, Kathy Ray, Brother-InLaw, Joe Vanden Busch (Susie) and many other nieces and nephews.

Judee was preceded in death by her parents, William and Arabel "Tootie" Smith; sister, Carol Bongean and husband Elmer "Boots" Bongean; in laws, Herman and Marjorie Vanden Busch-Alger, Thomas "Tom" Alger; Sister-In-Law, Jean Maes and husband John Maes; and her beloved little puppy, Sassy.

There will be a visitation with family Thursday, January 28, 2021 beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, La Vernia, with Rosary being recited at 10:30 AM.
