Mrs. K. M. Owen, an elderly lady long a resident of this township, died last Wednesday after a painful, protracted illness. She was buried Thursday at the cemetery northeast of this city, her son, E. P. Owen, conducting the religious services. Mrs. Owen was a woman of uncommonly consistent Christian character and the community in which she lived has lost one of its brightest lights by her decease.
