Dies Tuesday After
Two Years' Illness
Mrs. Alice Brown, 57, for many years a resident of this city, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of two years.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Marna Brown, Mrs. Evelyn Conrad, Mrs. Milton Selman and Mrs. Dorothy Phyliss; one son, Robert, all of Valparaiso; and five grandchildren. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the LePell funeral home on Monroe street, Rev. Oliver C. Starn, of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the LePell funeral home this evening at 7 o'clock and up until time of services.
