ELIZA A. SHAVER
Mrs. Eliza A. Shaver, a well known and highly respected resident of this city, died at her home, 166 Steuben street, at 11 o'clock this morning. She was taken sick with pneumonia last fall and never recovered from that illness, which together with old age, was the cause of death. Mrs. Shaver was born in Chatham, February 18, 1810, and been a resident of this city for the past 30 years. Her maiden name was Eliza A. Benjamin and she married Cyrenius Shaver in Westmoreland in 1832. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Catherine Eastlake of Utica, two great-great-grandchildren and one grandchild.
