Ray recorded and performed several popular music hits in the late 1950s through the 1960s, including "Missing You", "Corinna, Corinna" and "Tell Laura I Love Her". Later in life he became a minister of the Baptist Church. He died in 2005 at age 65, following a battle with cancer. See also:
