Funeral services for Sylvia Jean Napper, age 79 of Shelbyville will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Gowen-Smith with Brother Lloyd Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and also on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Social distancing will be practiced and masks will be required.
Ms. Napper passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her residence in Shelbyville.
She is a native of Bedford County and was born on Tuesday, July 22, 1941 to the late Gaines William Bryan and Lucille Bolin Bryan. Ms. Napper was a licensed practical nurse and worked in the office of Dr. Alma Tamula locally.
Survivors include her children: Timothy Owen Napper and Sarah Napper Bobo both of Shelbyville. Siblings: Charlotte Floyd, Roger Bryan, Bill Bryan all of Shelbyville and Donnie (Bo) Bryan of Nolensville, Tennessee.
Ms. Napper is also survived by five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Sonny Bryan and Richie (Pee Wee) Bryan.
Gowen-Smith Chapel in Shelbyville, TN. is assisting the family.
