JERRY CANTRILL, age 71, of Piqua, passed away at 4:18 PM. Monday July 10, 2017 at UVMC, Troy. He was born September 26, 1945 in Pineville, KY to the late Lockwood and Sally (Baker) Cantrill. Fifty years ago, he married Sherry L. Ballard in Sidney, OH on December 17, 1966. She survives.

He is survived by one son: J. Christopher Cantrill, Piqua, OH, two daughters and sons-in-law: Kelly & Kevin Karnehm, Urbana, OH, Cathy & Scott Boettiger; eleven grandchildren: Shelby, Mckenzy, Aryelle, Breana, Kassidy, Makayla, Kasey, Christopher, Colin (C.J.), Scott, Skylor, four great-great grandchildren; and one on the way. Two brothers preceded him in death: Ben Cantrill and Scotty Cantrill.

Jerry attended Upper Valley Community Church, Piqua. He loved to play golf and was a member of The Golden Boys and the Troy Fish & Game. He worked for UPS for 30 yrs., retiring in 1998. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army from 1962 – 1965

Jerry was an avid golfer later in life often golfing with the Golden Boys. Much to his delight and rightly so, he was able to accomplish two hole-in-ones during this time.
