Mr. Bidell was a son of the late Harry and Marie Dechart Bidell. He retired in 1992 after spending 32 years as a Buffalo fire fighter at Engine 36. He moved to Warsaw in 1971. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Patricia Hinley Bidell; his children, Dawn (Ronald) Rugelis, William Jr. (Michelle) Bidell and Matthew Bidell; his grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Bidell, Angela Bidell andLorraine Courson. He was the brother of the late John Bidell and Gene Bidell
