Sylvia Weber, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

She was the daughter of William and Lillian (Alber) Finkbeiner.

On April 21, 1944 she married Glenn Weber and he preceded her in death.

They lived on their farm on Austin Road until 1994 when they moved into Saline. She was a mother and helped on the farm and returned to the work force, working at UofM Health Services from 1970 to her retirement. She lived in her home until earlier this year when she moved into Brecon Assisted Living. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds and goldfinches, reading and playing dominoes, euchre and bingo. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and an active member of St Paul United Church of Christ.

Sylvia is survived by her three daughters, Karen (John) Samford of Ann Arbor, Janice Mammel of Saline and Barbara (Robert) Wells of Denver, CO; three grandsons, Aaron (Chris) Bailey of Ann Arbor, Andrew (Katie) Mammel of Fond du Lac, WI and Michael (Janice) Mammel of Dexter; two step grandchildren Matthew Samford and Susanna (Andrew) Fraass; great grandchildren Noah Bailey, Aiden Mammel, Kaylee and Charlie Mammel, and Jane and Alice Fraass; and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her sister Violet Harrison.

Sylvia was preceded in death by siblings Lauren Finkbeiner, Louetta Dieterle and Doris Gordon.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Saline, MI.

Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Saline.
