Victor was the son of Victor and Mercy Ababa.
He lived most of his life in California and Hawaii while his father was serving with US Navy. His family spent many years in Hawaii that he called his second home. After graduating from Radford High School he enlisted in the US Air Force in 2002.
His first active-duty station was in Laken, United Kingdom where he met his future wife Maxine. Victor was deployed several time to Iraq. His favorite duty station was in Yokota, Japan with his family. Later he was stationed at the United Kingdom where he was medically retired during 2016 due to injuries while on active duty.
After much discussion and searching the Ababa family choose to relocate to San Antonio, Texas for Victor and his family to start a new life after the military. In June 2021 the entire family tested postive for COVID-19 and Mike ended up being admitted to the hospital. He was unable to overcome COVID-19 and passed away.
He leaves behind his wife, Maxine and their 3 children, Jonathan, Justin and Jordan and his parents.

Burial date- March 4, 2021.
