Obituary of Beverly K Hugghins PLAY TRIBUTE MOVIE
Beverly Ann Kennon Hugghins went to be with her Lord and Savior February 6, 2021. This has been her heart's desire her whole life, and more so recently. Beverly accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior October 19, 1935 at her mother's knee.

Beverly was born to Louis H. Kennon and Elsbeth Rowe Kennon, February 14, 1927, in Houston, Texas. She graduated from San Jacinto High School. She attended Baylor University until she married Joe, then they graduated together from the University of Houston in 1948. She married Joseph Harris Hugghins in 1945, and they were married 70 years. They lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised five children.

She is survived by: Sons, Tom, wife Linda, Kennon, wife Maryanne, Bill, Daughters, Debbie Wharry, Ruth husband Russell. She also leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren Debe, Desiree, Angie, Colin, Corrie, Chelsea, and Christie, and 16 great-grandchildren, her sister, Nellen Brunson, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Joe, husband, Louis and Elsbeth, father and mother, Elsbeth Armstead, sister, April Hugghins, granddaughter. Beverly was very involved in her church, Houston's First Baptist. She enjoyed teaching her Sunday School class for 38 years. She enjoyed genealogy, and was actively involved in ten genealogy societies. Beverly enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing.

A visitation is scheduled for February 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Dr. David Self will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM. All events will be at Forest Park Lawndale. Memorial donations may be made to Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
