Kelly graduated from Englewood High School in 1981, she was passionate about art, attended various courses at Arapahoe Community College, and worked 23 years for the Highlands Ranch Metropolitan District/Centennial Water and Sanitation District as a Senior Financial Analyst. She also worked at McDonald's in Westminster, Colorado and was a friend to the customers and her coworkers. Kelly's favorite restaurant was The South for their famous Quesorito. She enjoyed baking, cooking, going to concerts, watching movies, reading, and making trips to the library.
