D. C. Andrew Rites To Be At Warren
Daniel C. Andrew, 67, formerly of Warren, died at 12 o'clock noon Wednesday at his home in Marion. He has been ill for the past nine years and death was attributed to complications.
The decedent was born July 6, 1879 in Salamonie township, Huntington county, a son of Calvin and Amy A. Young Andrew. His marriage to Julia Bonawitz took place March 19, 1896 in Warren.
Mr. Andrew, who was a retired framer, was a member of the Warren Church of Christ.
Surviving besides the widow are four daughters, Mrs. Dessie Paterson, of Clay City, Ill., Mrs. Elva Mills, of Pier Point, O., Mrs. Helen Wilcox, of Marion, and Mrs. Martha Struble, of Dayton, O.; two sons, Howard Andrew, of Columbia, Miss., and Dee Andrew, of Dayton, O.; eleven grandchildren and a half-sister, Addie McMillian, of Marion. A daughter, Josephine Cravens, is deceased.
The body was taken from the H. Brown and Son funeral home to the home of Mrs. Minnie Davis, in Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Warren Church of Christ, with Rev. Donald Poe officiating, assisted by Rev. L. M. Hile. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery at Warren.
