FORMER LOCAL MAN DIES AT INDIANAPOLIS
Word is received here today of the death of Tobe Blackwell, 74, former resident and native of onroe county. He died in Indianapolis, this morning where he had lived since his retirement a number of years ago.
He had been associated in the vulcanizing business with Everett Sparks from 1920 to 1936, in this city.
Survivors include the wife, Pernie Blackwell, a daughter, and two grandchildren, all of Indianapolis; six sisters, including Mrs. Lillian Bunger, Mrs Rose Sparks, Mrs.Agnes Brock and Mrs. Adeline Cross, all of this city; Mrs. Mattie Adams of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Elise Hutchison, Greencastle; and two brothers, Carl and Clyde Blackwell, Indianapolis.
Funeral and burial will be in Indianapolis.
