Swannanoa - Alice Faye Trantham of 310 New Salem Road Swannanoa, NC passed away peacefully on Saturday July 2, 2011, surrounded by her husband and family. She was a twin daughter of the late James and Flonnie Peek of Black Mountain. She was formerly employed by the N.C. Dept of Corrections.
Surviving are her husband, Harold L. Trantham, Children, Brett A. Smiley of Old Fort, Kim Smiley of Fletcher Gwen A. Ray of Oakley, Twin Sister, Ruby Maye Shelton, Sisters Evelyn Jackson and Janice Roupe, Brothers, Jimmy Peek and John Peek, five grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
Private burial service will be held at a later date.
