Molly Natzke Falck Gaterman, age 101, was called home to heaven on Friday, December 28, 2012 after a brief illness.

Molly was born in Wayside, WI to the late John and Martha Lemke Natzke on July 12, 1911. She was joined in holy matrimony to Alvin Falck on June 20, 1931. They enjoyed 37 years together before Alvin was called home in May of 1968. In 1970 Molly moved to Manitowoc, WI and began volunteering for the Red Cross and also Park Lawn. In 1974 Molly married Erwin Gaterman and enjoyed the next nine years with him until he was called home in 1983. It was then that Molly became passionate about her volunteer work. She visited family, friends and shut-ins in 5 Manitowoc area nursing homes. She enjoyed doing this until she was 93 ½ years old at which time she decided to give up driving.

Survivors include one son-in-law, Gilbert Krueger, Wayside; daughter-in-law, Joan Falck, Silver Cliff; grandchildren: DuWayne (Jeanne) Chapman, Waterford; Shelley (Robert) Liska, Green Bay; Todd Chapman, Wayside; Jamie Krueger, Wayside; Ryan (Mary) Falck, Green Bay; Matthew Falck, Menomonee Falls; 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a step son, Glenn (Janet) Gaterman, Manitowoc; step grandchildren: David Gaterman, Debbie (Jerry) Wenzel and 2 step great grandchildren.

Molly was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Falck and second husband, Erwin Gaterman; children: Wayne Falck, Nancy Falck and Janice Krueger; grandson, Kevin Falck and great granddaughter, Amanda Liska.

Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church Wayside, 8378 County Road W, Wayside, WI with Rev. Steven Kline Officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, 1st floor and special thanks to the Aurora Visiting Nurses for the excellent and compassionate care Molly received. We would also like to thank the staff and friends at River Hills Apartments and River Woods Assisted Living, both of Manitowoc and also Parkview Estates, Wayside for the care and friendship extended to Molly that added to her quality of life.
