Born on October 4th, 1927 in Brooklyn to Harold E. and Marian Jeanette (Ruland) Hitt who later moved to Albany where she grew up.
After attending Vincentian Institute in Albany she was employed by Mobile Oil Co. then later worked for the Shenendehowa Central School before retiring.
Marion was an avid bowler, enjoyed reading, dancing, traveling and neighborhood get togethers.
Marion was the devoted mother of Linda A. Ronca of Fort Hunter, NY, Laura J. (David) Patanian of Fort Mill, SC and Lois L Happel of Ballston Spa, NY.
Marion was the older sister of Patricia (Hitt) Bartow of San Antonio, TX, the late Robert Hitt, and Thomas C. Hitt of Voorheesville, NY, cherished grandmother of Nicole M. Ronca (Thomas) Pepe and family of Great Falls MT, Jaclyn M. Ronca and family of Independence, KY, Christopher M. Ronca and family of Rotterdam NY.
Interment will be held in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
