In the early morning hours of October 16, with loved ones by his side, Milton Henry Donges, beloved servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, ascended into heaven to his eternal reward. He joined the saints in heaven, including the love of his life, Manuela J. Donges, his wife of 55 years who preceded him in death on April 9 of this year. He also joined his beloved son, James A. Donges who passed into the presence of God on December 10 1973. Milton was born in Shreveport, LA to Mary E. Garrison and Milton H. Donges Sr. Milton is survived by his daughter Mary McQueen (Paul), grandchildren Kyle and Megan; daughter Diane Word (Glen), grandson Truman; and loved as a daughter Vicki Ashenfelter. Special thanks to all the caring staff at Highlands Rehab Hospital, VNA Hospice, Royal Estates Assisted Living, Pastor G. Hogg, and San Jose Funeral Home; You were his angels during a difficult time.
