Guilmáin was known for her roles in the films "Las fuerzas vivas" (1975), "Length of War" (1976) and "Darker Than Night" (2014). In television, she acted in telenovelas, including "Entre brumas" (1973), "Los bandidos de Río Frío" (1976), "La antorcha encendida" (1996), "Vivo por Elena" (1998), "¡Amigos x siempre!" (2000), "Aventuras en el tiempo" (2001), "Misión S.O.S. aventura y amor" (2004); and the television series "María de Todos los Ángeles" (2009), "Una familia de diez" (2019), and "La familia P. Luche" (2007). She was the daughter of actress Ofelia Guilmáin and sister of actor Juan Ferrara and Esther Guilmáin.
