Lina(Mina is correct first name)E. Allen,83,a resident of Grand Junction for 40 years,died Thursday,July 10, 1980,in Mountain View,Calif.,her home for seven years. She was the widow of Samuel Joseph Allen,who died June 25,1973.
Mrs. Allen was born July 24,1887 in Corning,Iowa. She was a member of the Clifton Assembly of God.
Surviving are two daughters,Ruth Hansen of Parawan,Utah and Faye Brown of Mountain View,Calif.,three sons, Walter Allen of Placerville,Calif,Ora Alen of Fruita, and Wayne Allen of Tipp City,Ohio; a brother Vernie Peterson of Paonia;thwo sisters, Ella Moore of Goodland,Kan., and Elizabeth Weston of Palisade,10 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nina E Allen will be held Tuesday 2:00p.m. in the Clifton Assembly of God church with Rev. Paul Reed of Denver officiating.Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of Martin's Mortuary
