M. Lucille "Toots" Jordan, 86, of Farmersville, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2002 at St. John's Hospice.

She was born February 4th, 1916 in Christian County, the daughter of John W. & Elizabeth Sheedy Carney. She married Jerome Jordan in February 1935. He preceded her in death in 1974. Also preceding her in death were two sons- Joseph Patrick Jordan & John J. Jordan, a granddaughter-Melanie Jordan; a brother- John Carney; and two sisters- Martha McClernon and Margaret Baker.

Mrs. Jordan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar & Rosary Society in Farmersville.

She is survived by her daughter- Monica (husband- Jim) Borgognoni of Springfield; her son- J. Alex (wife- Mary Ann) Jordan of Divernon; brother- James (wife-Grace) Carney of Santa Rosa, CA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and several great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M. Tuesday March 26th, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmersville. There will be a prayer service at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at Noon Wednesday March 27th, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmersville, the Rev. David Zimmerman celebrant. Burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery in Morrisonville.
