Barbara A. Connery, 85, of St. Cloud, Fla., passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Morrison) Cowee. Barbara was born and raised in Natick. She attended St. Patricks Grammar School and graduated from Natick High School in 1943, where she was a cheerleader and secretary of her class. Barbara supported all Boston teams, especially the Boston Celtics, for which she had season tickets for many years. Barbara was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Cheryl A. Ozzella, who passed away in 1990. She is survived by her stepson, Walter Connery III and his wife, Barbara M. Connery; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Bridgett and Brandi. Barbara was predeceased by her spouses, Phillip Ozzella and Walter Connery II; siblings, Harold B. Cowee, Ruth Pentes, Alice Fitzgerald, Grace Cella, Marjorie Brooks, Betty Ballard and Eleanor Murphy. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a funeral service to celebrate Barbaras life on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick common), Natick. Interment will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery, Natick. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vitas Hospice Care, 5430 N.
