Daughter of Robert Lynn McLin and Ann Blair. Listed on the 1840, 1850 Washington Co, Tennessee Federal Census living with her parents and siblings. There is a story on another website that reads Louise Carson related an anecdote about Margaret Ann McLin, daughter of Robert Lynn McLin and niece of Richard Blair McLin. She was called Maggie in the family, and "Aunt Pug" by her nieces and nephews. Maggie married Jacob Susong Seneker, born 1818. Jacob was a brother of Louise Carson's great-grandfather Seneker. Their father was Elias Gottlieb Schoeneker, who came to Tennessee from Germany in 1790, and their mother was Catherine Susong. Maggie and Jake had moved to Missouri when they married, and returned by horseback to visit her uncle Richard B. McLin. She had cut off an apple tree branch to use as a riding stick, and when she arrived she stuck it in the ground on Richard's farm. It grew and produced apples, which came to be known as "Aunt Pug apples."
Wife of Jacob Susong Seneker.
I'm not related to this family but looked up some of the information for the family.
