Freddie Joe Grounds born September 9, 1937 in Houston, died March 8, 1999 in Pasadena at the age of 61 years. Freddie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena; Pasadena Masonic Lodge No. 1155 A.F. & A.M.; Houston Scottish Rite and the Arabia Shriner's Temple.
His loving family includes wife, Sue Grounds; daughter, Vicki Defee and husband Eddy; sons, Randy Grounds; David Grounds and wife Dana; sister, Janie Farris, brothers, Franklin Grounds and Chester Grounds; four grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9,1999 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with a Celebration of Life to be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roland Hill and Dr. Wayne Spears officiating. Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
